The best way to keep your 4th of July festivities FRESH is with some great music. The playlist can make or break your party and barbecue. To make sure your long day of fun in the sun moves along without any hiccups, we have some great suggestions to keep your playlist bumpin’ with pop infused patriotism!

America’s Suitehearts – Fall Out Boy

As you make your way to the beach for the holiday, this Fall Out Boy hit song is perfect to jam out to in your car. Although the lyrics are a little cryptic, it is an awesome, upbeat song.

Firework – Katy Perry

Katy Perry’s hit song has transcended time and still reigns as one of the top 4th of July anthems. On top of the fact that the day’s celebrations usually end with fireworks, this song is all about empowerment and pride.

American Idiot – Green Day

Like Green Day, their song “American Idiot” is classic. Although the 4th of July is all about American pride and the lyrics are critical of the U.S.A., we can’t help but want to rock out to this song anyway.

American Honey – Lady Antebellum

“American Honey” is as sweet as it sounds. The Lady Antebellum song pays tribute to the sweet, simpler side of American life.

National Anthem – Lana Del Rey

Almost the opposite of Lady Antebellum’s “American Honey,” Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem” is about the posh side of American life. While mentioning places like the Hamptons, she sings, “money is the anthem of success.”

Made in the U.S.A. – Demi Lovato

Hey Demi, “our love was made, made in the U.S.A.” for this song. This song is all about American-born love and is accompanied by a music video about romance with an American soldier.

All-American Girl – Carrie Underwood

This song is truly for all the American girls out there, and so is the music video. In the video, Carrie dresses up as a soldier, nurse, artist, and many other occupations to inspire girls to succeed.

America – Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons takes on a serious side on the U.S.A. in both their lyrics and video for their song “America.” The video is like a musical history lesson, complete with a compilation of historical American videos and images.
