It was just Adele’s birthday and she turned 26. But in a single tweet, the singer has started the internet’s gears grinding for a 25 album.
“I’ve heard everything we’ve done and I’m as proud of it, or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever,” Tedder said.
As Adele’s massive sophomore album 21 nears its three-year anniversary of unmitigated success and sales, it has broken yet another record. It has become the first album to ever sell three million digital copies.
Adele may still be working on earning an EGOT (she’s still missing the E and the T: Emmy and Tony) but she was recently bestowed with one of the highest honors from the Queen of England.
