That’s Why God Made the Radio
While Brian Wilson has stated that he’d like to make another album and continue touring with the Beach Boys’ reunion lineup, it seems that’s not really in the cards for the family band.
The band is celebrating 50 years with a new DVD.
Brian Wilson tips us off about what’s to come, if he has his way: Another new Beach Boys album that “gets the rock’n’roll going,” more tour dates, no more Grammy hullabaloo, and possibly even a Frank Sinatra tribute album.
An Endless Summer may not be in store for the reunited Beach Boys. Amidst hopeful talk of adding tour dates and recording another album comes a report that frontman Mike Love has scheduled his own “Beach Boys” tour dates this October.
Surfers, sunshine and sexy girls – that’s the trifecta of fun presented by the Beach Boys in their new video for “That’s Why God Made The Radio.” It’s not until the last minute of the video that the band actually makes an appearance, at which point its members high-five hip, beachy fans.
