It’s only May, but Seth MacFarlane is getting in the Christmas spirit.
Adele isn’t the only one performing at the Oscars this year. The producers of the 85th Academy Awards revealed that the night will feature a tribute to the best movie musicals of the last decade and will include performances from Jennifer Hudson, who won Best Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe.
Norah Jones will be gracing the Oscar stage this year in honor of a foul-mouthed little teddy bear. The singer will perform the Seth MacFarlane penned “Everybody Needs A Best Friend” from his directorial debut, Ted.
Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards were announced early Thursday morning with Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” leading the pack with 12 nods.
“It’s truly an overwhelming privilege to be asked to host the Oscars,” MacFarlane said.
