She was an early favorite to win with famous backers like Cher, Adele and Leona Lewis tweeting her praises, but she would only end up coming in sixth. But don’t feel sorry for her, she’s got her sights on a much bigger prize: America.
Through all the confusion, U2 has officially remained committed to releasing the LP this year, despite reports that he was not satisfied with the work. Now, thinking has again shifted, with the band feeling confident about their new material and going ahead with plans to put out the No Line on the Horizon follow-up this year.
OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder may sing some of your favorite pop rock songs but that’s not all this super talented musician can do. He’s also had his hand in writing some of the biggest pop songs in the past decade for some of your favorite artists.
The surprise EP is the first half of her upcoming full-length.
“I’ve heard everything we’ve done and I’m as proud of it, or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever,” Tedder said.
Sorry, U2 fans it seems you’re going to have to wait a little longer for that long awaited album from the Irish band.
