Interview: Hayley Williams on the Paramore Cruise, the Fall Out Boy Tour & Why She’ll (Probably) Never Go Solo
“My priority will always be Paramore,” she said. “I know where my heart is. And it’s this band. I can’t imagine wanting to do anything else.”
Paramore is breaking records, both figuratively and literally, in their new video for “Ain’t It Fun” off their 2013 self-titled album.
“It’s great to get the chance to share the stage with a band we have never toured with that has their own unique legacy. So glad that our buddies in New Politics will be there too. This summer is gonna be an unforgettable one for sure,” Fall Out Boy wrote
The clip combines black and white shots of Hayley Williams and the guys playing Wembley Stadium with the story of two girls who pack their bags and head to London to see Paramore in concert.
After a few tough years, Williams said that her band’s upcoming North American trek, The Self-Titled Tour, which kicks off tomorrow (October 15) in Seattle, Washington, feels like a fresh start for her band.
In the new video for “Stay The Night,” Hayley Williams and Zedd help soundtrack an elaborate mating dance.
“It just felt like a song I was supposed to sing,” Hayley Williams said about “Stay The Night,” her new track with Zedd.
Paramore announced today (Aug. 22) that they’ll be breaking in to the music cruise trend — previously reserved for older, washed-up types (pun intended) — with a four-day concert cruise aptly dubbed Parahoy.
American Charli XCX fans will have to wait just a little longer to see the singer on this side of the Atlantic again.
It must have been a very busy day for Paramore. The band had to squeeze in a North American tour announcement while making breakfast.
