Billboard reports that the band is looking to release their new album in April with plans to announce the official date in a commercial at this year’s Super Bowl, which will air February 2.
Death Cab for Cutie took to Twitter yesterday to let fans know that they’re hard at work recording their eighth album.
“We didn’t want to write songs anymore that were just like a boy band recording songs. We wanted to be able to feel these songs. That’s how the best songs come out. It’s all emotional, it’s feeling,” Nick Carter said.
