“When I’m smiling with fans, I do the Kourtney Kardashian dead-behind-the-eyes,” Tyler Glenn tells Radio.com. It’s not because he dislikes posing with his adoring public. It’s not even a thing he means to do. Glenn simply doesn’t like his smile — or more accurately, his toothy grin.
When Tyler Glenn finally made the decision to come out, he sat down with Ellen DeGeneres. “I think I actually watched all of her interviews right as I was making my announcement,” the Neon Trees frontman told Radio.com. “It was powerful to see the strides that the gay community and gay culture have made in pop culture and society.”
Between first single “Sleeping With A Friend” and singer Tyler Glenn’s choice to come out of the closet as a gay man, Neon Trees have had a particularly public album launch for Pop Psychology. So they’ve decided to lean into it with the video for “First Things First” and tell their story in video to accompany the lyrics.
The singer revealed his sexuality in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
