Sia can no longer hide from the spotlight.
With a little help from Girls star Lena Dunham, Sia recreates her video for “Chandelier” on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers.’ Well sort of.
The tropical track, which was written by Sia and Kelly Clarkson collaborator, Greg Kurstin, has her speaking a little Spanish, rapping about sangria and saying things like, “I want you to love me long time.”
At first listen, you might mistake Sia’s new song “Chandelier” for something by Rihanna. And you’re not off the mark to think so.
“Louder really encompasses my experiences over this past year and my journey as an artist up to this point. There’s a lot of emotion but it’s also very encouraging and hopeful—it’s about pushing forward and living your life in a way that’s louder, stronger and bolder,” she said.
Sia recently came under fire for working with Eminem on his latest release, ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2,’ but it wasn’t for the song she worked on with the rapper.
Katharine McPhee is heading back into the studio to record and she’s teaming up with a few high profile songwriters.
The singer reveals the track listing to her album due for release next month.
