Filmmaker David Markey released a 15-minute clip of Nirvana performing at the Los Angeles Forum during what would be the band’s final show in L.A. before the tragic death of frontman Kurt Cobain in April of 1994.
Amid a teeming sea of concertgoers that includes the occasional crowd surfer, Nirvana sounds as on-point as the band ever did, assisted by second guitarist Pat Smear filling out the song’s crunching guitar on the chorus and backing vocals.
