NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — It’s being billed as Jennifer Lopez’s first performance in the Bronx — her hometown borough. But next Wednesday’s concert is more headache than homecoming for one community, where some are dreading the event.
By all appearances, Jennifer Lopez is doubling down on her love of the ’90s in her latest video for the single “First Love,” as she did on her new album cover.
He wasn’t in attendance, but that didn’t stop Justin Timberlake from having a pretty solid night at the Billboard Music Awards.
Jennifer Lopez may be a 44-year-old mother of two, but she’s not afraid to show a little skin. Case in point: her new album cover.
“I asked the guys, ‘You feel absurd right now? Yes? Good, then we’re doing it right. Now rub your chest on the car and let’s go,'” Lopez said.
“I just love music,” J.Lo said in regards to her new record. “I think it’s the dancer in me. I love making music. Even though it’s my tenth album, it feels like the first one.”
Jennifer Lopez is a woman who knows what she wants. And one thing she doesn’t want is to film the video for her latest single, “I Luh Ya Papi” featuring French Montana at a water park.
The sunny and infectious tune is sure to soundtrack many beach parties once the temperatures soar. Yes, this winter will eventually end.
Don’t be fooled by the rocks that Jennifer Lopez’s got, she’s still Jenny from the block, or as her latest single proclaims, she’s the same girl who used to hop on the 6 train from the Bronx.
If the ratings of last night’s (Jan. 15) American Idol show us anything, it’s that after 13 seasons, America might not really care who their next Idol is.
