Yoko Ono is expressing her anger over alleged ISIS terrorist Mohammed Emwazi’s use of John Lennon‘s name, saying she won’t sit back and let him destroy her late husband’s legacy.

In an interview with The Observer (via NME), Ono said that Emwazi, who is better known as “Jihadi John” and is believed to be responsible for the beheadings of many Westerners including Americans, using Lennon’s name is “very distasteful.”

“I’m not going to let them destroy [the memory of] John Lennon or The Beatles,” Ono said.

Emwazi along with a group of three other men in the Islamic State have reportedly been given the nicknames John, Paul, George and Ringo by prisoners.
