‘CMT Crossroads’ Snags John Legend, Lee Ann Womack for Next Episode
The duo will perform the newest episode of the long-running collaboration series, with the episode being taped in Franklin, Tenn. It’ll join the R&B of Legend, who’s managed multiple pop hits in the U.S., and Womack, one of the bigger country artists of her generation.
“Having John and Lee Ann join us on CMT Crossroads is going to be an incredible pairing – they are both among the most respected singers in their genres,” said John Hamlin, svp of music, events and talent of CMT, in a release. “This has all the makings of another classic Crossroads collaboration.”
Legend’s seen huge success this year with his No. 1 hit “All of Me,” his highest charted single to date, off of his fourth studio album, 2013’s Love In the Future.
