Punk Band Throws Beer at a Drone at Concert, Knocking It Out of the Air

Trash Talk? Not a fan of drones, it seems.

At the California punk band’s Detroit show last weekend, bassist Spencer Pollard chucked beverages at a drone that was hovering above the stage and crowd.

The drone, which cost its owner $700, belonged to 52-year-old Detroit resident Harry Arnold, who operates an aerial photography company and was using the drone to shoot coverage of the show, according to MLive.

When Pollard threw another drink, he knocked the drone out of the air, sending it crashing in the no man’s land between the crowd and the stage — the best possible place it could have crashed. Arnold then confronted an unremorseful Pollard about taking down his drone.
