Previously Unheard Queen Tracks Featuring Freddie Mercury Being Produced by William Orbit

Brian May hinted back in May that there was a new Queen album in the works. But the band’s fans were even more excited to hear that this new album would feature previously unheard vocal takes from Freddie Mercury himself.

Now it seems William Orbit has confirmed that he is involved in this project, which will make new of these old songs.

Orbit, who previously worked with Madonna on her 1998 album Ray Of Light and 2012’s MDNA, took to Twitter yesterday to announce he is “definitely working with QUEEN. Amazing songs. That’s all I’m sayin 4 now. Watch this space.”

May revealed that their were unreleased tracks in an interview with BBC Radio after they asked him about his favorite Queen songs, which happens to be “Made in Heaven,” a song released after Mercury’s death.
