Germany, Portugal, Ghana — these are the teams the United States was pitted against in the first round of this year’s FIFA World Cup. Soccer fans both casual and diehard came out of the woodwork to support the U.S. home team, including a fair share of high profile musicians and celebrities.

Rihanna, on the other hand, is from Barbados, so her allegiance to America is certainly not required.

However, it looks like she’s just rooting against the U.S. every chance she gets. How do you feel about that, U.S. soccer fans?

That seems to be the case if Rihanna’s Twitter account is any indication. In the just-finished Germany-U.S. match, which saw Europe come out on top of North America 1-0, the pop star was quite vocal about her yearning for a German victory.
