P!nk Cover Band Singer Sued for $10 Million for Not Being Attractive Enough
By Kevin Rutherford
P!nk cover bands are, apparently, serious business.
At least, that’s what a lawsuit filed in New York seems to indicate. The frontwoman of a P!nk cover band has been sued for $10 million by the creator of the group, claiming she lacked both talent and sex appeal — and that ruined the band.
According to the New York Post, Charles Bonfante, an attorney on Long Island, sued Collette McLafferty, who lives on the Lower East Side in Manhattan. McLafferty, 40, was the frontwoman for the band who Bonfante claimed, along with the other band members, was “subpar” with “pitch problems” and “didn’t look the part, or at least contribute to the overall aesthetics of the band.”
