Jimmy Fallon and Fred Armisen Send Up The Beatles on ‘The Tonight Show’

NBC’s Monday post-primetime lineup might as well have been titled Late Night with Fred Armisen.

Last night, Armisen was a the second guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, riffing on the recent 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show and the band being “ahead of its time” with Fallon.

Armisen made a quick appearance on the Fallon couch as well.

The Portlandia star also made his debut as Late Night with Seth Meyers‘ bandleader for Meyers’ house band, the 8G Band, last night. Although he had considerably less screen time.
