Oh Yeezus, Lone Survivor’s NYC Mishap & More: It’s the Hollywood Hotsheet!
Instead of “Jim & Kim’s Another Reason to Hate Kanye West,” today we present “Jim & Kim’s Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-Kanye-West.” After walking off stage in a huff in Tampa the other night…Kanye had trouble filling the seats in Kansas City Tuesday night… only 4,500 of the over 19,000 seats were sold.
And the Kansas City Star added this zing…“West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago.”
The premiere of Mark Wahlberg’s new movie Lone Survivor where he plays a Navy SEAL didn’t go so well for the wounded veterans who were invited. The Post’s Page Six says when they arrived at the Ziegfeld Theater for the screening…someone realized the theater isn’t handicap-accessible. So director Peter Berg arranged for a bus to take them to the Universal screening room…but the bus’ mechanism used to lower the wheelchairs broke and the FDNY came to the rescue…but by that time the movie was over, so they were invited to the after party at at Terminal 5.
Page Six also says Mark Wahlberg’s kids aren’t allowed to see the movie because it’s rated R…but he let his 5 and 7 year old sons see the first few minutes and the last 12 because he’s afraid his wife would kill him.
Want to watch The Sound of Music Live! tonight among friends with booze?
Plenty of local bars are having viewing parties as Carrie Underwood steps into the iconic role of Maria von Trapp in NBC’s production of the classic movie at 8 tonight. True Blood’s Stephen Moyer co-stars as Captain von Trapp. It’s all live…the singing, the acting…one half of people will watch it as a great new family event and the other half will watch to see if anyone messes up.
