Chris Brown Thinks His Anger-Management Class Was ‘Sexist’
In a revealing interview with the UK paper, Brown lamented his reputation as a “mad black guy, this angry, young, troubled kid,” his probation, community-service and anger management-class after pleading guilty to felony assault of his now ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
He said he believes his sentence has been excessive and his court-ordered anger management class discriminatory.
“I think the actual [anger management] class I went to was a little bit sexist,” he said. “It was beneficial because it made me cater more to a woman’s thoughts and a woman’s needs, and how to handle situations. But the class itself, no disrespect to the class, but the class itself only tells you you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”
While Brown says he’s learned to control his anger, he suggested there’s still an undertone of racial discrimination to his punishment.
