Sara Bareilles Calls On Fans To Be Brave
Sara Bareilles, our Fresh In The Park 2013 headliner, is calling her fans and followers to be brave. That is, to share their experiences with her via Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #IAmBraveEnough and #BraveEnoughTour.
The song, Antonoff said in the team’s webisode, is destined to become a civil rights anthem for the LGBT community. Bareilles has been quoted saying we’re way behind the times as a society when it comes to same-sex marriage.
“There’s so much honor and integrity and beauty in being able to be who you are,” Sara said in the webisode. “It’s important to be brave because by doing that, you also give others permission to do the same.”
Feeling adventurous? You can download a “postcard” from Sara’s official website and Instagram reasons why you could slay any dragon that comes your way.
Be sure to come out to Fresh’s FREE concert on July 27th featuring Sara Bareilles, Plain White T‘s and A Great Big World – LIVE at the Harry Chapin Theater, Eisenhower Park – East Meadow, Long Island.
