The Postal Service turn the world upside down in the topsy-turvy new music video for “A Tattered Line of String,” a previously unreleased song from the recently released 10th anniversary deluxe edition of the band’s beloved 2003 debut, Give Up.

Neither band members Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie fame or producer Jimmy Tamborello make an appearance in the surreal clip, directed by AB/CD/CD, and finds a hapless coin laundry patron trapped in a world where it’s the world that goes into spin cycle instead of the clothes.

The live version of the band, which includes Jenny Lewis and Laura Burhenn, have been warmly received onstage this year, with acclaimed performances at festivals like Coachella and a triumphant two-night stand at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center arena.
