With the announcement of the line-up for this year’s Bumbershoot festival in Seattle comes the news that Death Cab for Cutie will be performing their 2003 full-length, Transatlanticsim, in its entirety.

DCFC’s album playback tops the 2013 festival bill, with frontman Ben Gibbard and company to be joined by such acts as fun., Kendrick Lamar, Tegan and Sara and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Heart.

Featuring such singles as “Title and Registration” and “The Sound of Settling,” Transatlanticism plays an important part in the band’s popularity and pop culture profile, with a promotional poster for the release featured prominently in popular mid-‘00s TV show The O.C. on the bedroom wall of main character Seth Cohen (played by actor Adam Brody).

The three-day Bumbershoot Festival is set for August 31-September 2 at Seattle Center Park.
