Lenny Kravitz Looks at ‘Black And White America’ With New Doc

With his new documentary, Lenny Kravitz lets fans see what it took to make his long awaited album, Black And White America.

Lenny started recording his ninth release in 2009 down in the Bahamas, but what was supposed to be a three-month session turned into two years.

The documentary, Looking Back On Love, explores not only Lenny’s recording process but also the personal aspects of the record, which came out in 2011. In the film he talks about growing up in a bi-racial household and how the 2008 election of President Obama relates to the title of the album.

Check out the trailer for the film below.

Looking Back On Love is available on iTunes now.
