U2 has always made it worth their fans’ while (and money) to join their fanclub. Last year, they offered a 2 CD box set of live tracks from their recent U2360 tour, called U22, exclusively to fan club members. This year they’re offering even more performances from that tour, on a single 15-track CD called Edge’s Picks. As the name suggests, the tracklist was selected by U2 guitarist The Edge.

The band’s official website has revealed a few of Edge’s “picks”: the rare track “Electrical Storm” (originally recorded by the band for their The Best Of 1990-2000 compilation), “New Year’s Day,” “40,” and from their latest album No Line On The Horizon, “Get On Your Boots” and “Breathe.”

A one-year membership to the fanclub costs $50 and includes the CD, a photobook from the U2360 tour and a few other goodies. If you missed out on last year’s U22 set, you can pay for a $85 deluxe subscription and get that collection as well (no songs are duplicated on the two live albums).
