How are you going to thaw your turkey? In the bathtub? Believe it or not, that’s one of the many creative questions people have asked the Butterball hotline to help them with.

How to thaw your turkey is one of the most asked questions the Turkey Talk Line has fielded, along with how long to cook your turkey, which pan to use and what to do when the turkey is on fire.

The Turkey Talk Line is open annually in November and December and will take 10,000 calls on Thanksgiving alone. Today, one of their experts, Nicole, told us about some of the more unusual calls she has received.

One guy called from the supermarket and had it on speakerphone so that every person in the aisle could ask questions.  And then there was the father who decided to thaw the turkey in the bathtub… with his sons!
