A new creation from Xandon Frogget makes pushing a stroller a thing of the past.
Using a Nintendo Wiimote controller your toddler can now drive his or herself around the block. Add on the motion sensor device Kinect from Xbox, which will detect when the stroller gets to close to anything, and you can rest assured that your little bundle of joy won’t run anyone over.
Frogget’s kit turns your old boring stroller into an “autonomous robot” and offer three different configurations. The basic version, starting at $2,500, provides you with all the hardware including the Kinect, but does not provide you with the stroller or netbook to connect the stroller to the Internet, which is what helps your kid happily steer him or herself around.
The complete kit includes all the hardware, the netbook and the stroller, but will set parents back $3,500.
Watch below to see how the stroller works and let us know if you’re planning to buy one this holiday season.
