The Perfect Halloween Treats For Your Holiday Party
Be the hostess with the mostest this Halloween thanks to these fun and easy recipes for party snacks and spooky cocktails.
For this holiday, instead of chips make your own Chex Mix.
The Wannabe Chef says all you need for a sweet and salty mix is cinnamon Chex cereal, salted maple almonds (which you can make from scratch!), pretzel sticks and candy corn. Throw them in a bowl (or cauldron) and you’re all set.

No party seems complete without a platter of pigs in the blanket, but for this All Hallows Eve we suggest making some Mummy Dogs.

These little hot dogs are all wrapped up in thinly sliced strips of Pillsbury crescent rolls. Just loosely wind them around the dog to look like they’ve been mummified. Use capers or dabs of mustard for eyes.
Plain old onion dip just won’t do for your spooky soiree so try making a spicy demon dip.

This fondue-style dip made up of jack cheese and smoky chipotle is perfect for dipping French or Italian bread along with tortilla chips.

This mixed drink uses rye whiskey and pomegranate juice. A few floating pomegranate seeds fill-in for real teeth.

For this drink use Peach Schnapps, grenadine and a tablespoon of Baileys Irish Cream, which floats on top to look like a floating brain. Though it might look gross, blogger TangoPango insists it tastes like peaches and cream.
And for any guests under the drinking age, make these boo-nilla milkshakes.

Martha Stewart says to make these ghostly white shakes a little spookier paint faces on the insides of the glasses using melted chocolate.
