“Suck it Commie!” barks Kid Rock to actor Sean Penn.

According to Jameson Stafford, the short film’s director, the goal of Americans is to “tear down the one-dimensional political stereotypes portrayed by the media by confronting them head on.”

Kid Rock, is widely known as an outspoken conservative, most recently supporting the Romney/Ryan ticket while actor Sean Penn is famous for social activism and liberal political views. Both personalities come together in this thoughtful and funny video about Americans setting their differences aside… but not before a hilarious verbal showdown.

The war of words begins with Penn’s machine gun-like verbal assault, calling Rock “a seal-clubbing, Confederate flag-waving, oil-whoring, ‘Chick-fil-A’-eating, waterboarding, NASCAR-loving, Cayman Island bank account-having, endangered species hunting, warmongering, redneck, toothless, Wall Street troglodyte.” To which Kid Rock returns the fire power by calling Penn “a tofu-munching, welfare-loving, Prius-driving, Obama-sucking, tree-hugging, whale-saving, gay marriage-fantasizing, big government-voting, PETA-chasing, Oprah Winfrey-masturbating, flag-burning, socialist, ACLU, whiney-ass granola-crat.”

After a young woman breaks up the two with a lecture about how wonderful America is and how lucky the two are to have their freedoms, the two men decide to set aside their differences for a moment to see if their adversary is really all that bad.

Kid Rock’s journey begins with the purchase of a Prius while Penn swaps his martini in favor of a Bud. Comedy ensues when the duo spends an entire day together.

Kid Rock’s latest album Rebel Soul hits stores November 19th while Sean Penn’s latest film Gangster Squad, co-starring Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Emma Stone, hits theaters January 2013.
