Brian McKnight is on his way to securing a spot as one of Twitter’s most wanted. After becoming a trending topic back in April for his X-rated song lyrics, he’s now stepped into a Twitter feud with Chris Brown.
On Saturday (June 2) Brown was apparently minding his own Twitter business when McKnight referenced Brown’s infamous abuse incident from 2009.
“Since everyone’s so opinionated I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next,” McKnight tweeted, “I’m thinking rent a lambo and beat the s*** outta my girl…”
The remark was McKnight’s attempt to defend himself from critics who pounced on the singer last week for the follow-up to his x-rated song, “If You’re Ready To Learn.” His latest track, which is even more explicit than its predecessor, was recorded as a “thank you” for a pornography website that helped with the attention his first scandalous song received.
“If You’re Ready To Learn”, which he released via Twitter in April, showcases a traditional McKnight melody as he croons in usual emotive fashion. However, the lyrics represented a departure from the love songs he is known for penning.
When fans reacted to his lastest sex-infused track, he began to question the values of society and Brown became a casualty of his point. Brown, an avid Twitter beefer, returned McKnight’s jabs with a few of his own.
I see how this works now… When peoples careers get to the “nobody cares” stage they use my name for publicity! Lol

Brown followed up with more tweets: “Listening to ‘let me show u how ur P works’!!!! THAT S*** IS TRASH! If u need help just ask!”
With his final tweet on the topic, McKnight said he was not attempting to aim his criticism at Brown.
I meant no disrespect to anyone I was merely pointing out that In today’s society anything goes and WE Are all to blame the end

Surely there will be more blame to come. Stay tuned.
