Peter Gabriel will head out on tour this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his album, So. Coming this September, he’ll perform the album in it’s entirety for U.S. audiences.
The 13-date outing, entitled Back To Front, will see 10 of those dates being played in the States (the other three in Canada). Fans should note that a pre-sale does start this Wednesday (May 23) and VIP options are available, like being invited to soundcheck. In addition to the track list from So, each night’s set will also include hits from the artist’s legendary catalog. Accompanying Gabriel for the anniversary outing will be members of the original So touring band.
Also coming in September will be a re-issue of So, coming out shortly before the tour starts on September 18th. Fans will have the option to buy the 1986 release as a single CD, a special edition 3-CD box set and a Super Delux Box Set. So produced some of the most iconic hits and videos of the 80′s, such as “In Your Eyes,” “Big Time,” and, of course, “Sledgehammer.”
