Today’s the day.

Justin Bieber‘s “Boyfriend” music video will be released on MTV at 7:50 p.m. ET.

While fans were able to see a brief insider view of the video through four viral clips, Popdust reports Bieber took a new direction that fans won’t completely recognize from his four teasers. Though the original concept came from director Colin Tilley, there’s a new clip that Director X shot that features choreographed dance moves.

In a behind the scenes video posted online yesterday Bieber discussed the video in a little more detail.

“The concept is really cool. It’s basically lifestyle. Me, a bunch of cars, doing donuts in the parking lot,” he said. “The director I’m using is a veteran in the game. The shots that we’re doing, they’re amazing. The video is just a cool video. Its showing me having fun and I think people can relate to that.”

Bieber fans everywhere can tune into MTV tonight to see “Boyfriend” in it’s entirety and take part in a chat with Bieber. Known for the ongoing publicity of “Boyfriend,” Bieber even joked about his constant promotion of the video debut.
