The Times Square Museum and Visitor Center is honoring the man of Times Square himself, Dick Clark. The Times Square Alliance has reserved an area on the New Year’s Eve Confetti Wall for fans, New Yorkers, and visitors alike to express their condolences and share their memories of the broadcast legend.
The messages will be featured in the one ton of confetti that will bring in 2013 at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve. The Visitor Center will also display a collection of photos from various moments of Dick Clark’s life. A sign remembering his time in the square and the festivities he brought to people’s homes during the New Year will also be featured. Visitors will be able to leave memories in the form of flowers, signs, cards, etc. to pay their respects.
