Taylor Swift graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia in April in a stunning gold Gucci frock. It isn’t her cover photo that’s making the news though. Instead, she’s wearing one designer you might not expect: Kanye West.
The singer openly advertises that she has forgiven West from his 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident.
Harper’s Bazaar Australia writes, “Fashion editor Christine Centenera traveled to Nashville to shoot the superstar, and was surprised when Taylor arrived with new bangs, the result of another cover shoot with Mario Testino the week prior — the girl is in demand. For those who might wonder if the hatchet is buried between Taylor and Kayne West, following Kayne’s outburst at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, well, there she is in our story wearing a Kayne West top from his first collection.”
Swift continues to keep a busy schedule with an Australian tour this month and movie ventures. Her latest film, Dr Seuss’ The Lorax hit theaters Friday and her new song “Safe & Sound” featuring The Civil Wars continues to heighten the buzz behind The Hunger Games, due out this month.
Both shows in Brisbane were magical and wildly dancy. And so completely worth the trip.

Meanwhile, yesterday West debuted his women’s wear fall collection for Fashion Week in Paris. Celebrity friends Diddy, Common, Alicia Keys, Rosario Dawson and Kim Kardashian looked on from the front row.
MTV News reports that West decided to cancel a pre-show collection preview and stated, “I got treated unfairly by the press last time. Why would I want to do this?”
It seems as though those in attendance enjoyed his fall collection which included leather and suede pieces and go-karts.
Eric Wilson of The New York Times detailed West’s line.
“This show started out OK, with a series of tough-looking black leather and suede outfits based off of a motorcycle jacket. And it ended with go-karts spinning around two tracks on either side of the runway, which made Anna Wintour smile. His leather skirts had a stiff half-ruffle pointing out at the hems. Karlie Kloss wore a leather jacket that, kind of interestingly, had no back, but then there was again a preponderance of questionable fur looks, including pants that were broadtail on the front, clingy fabric on the back.”
