Lady Gaga Tops Forbes’ Female Earners List of 2011

As if we all didn’t expect this news…

According to Forbes Magazine, Lady Gaga is music’s top-earning woman in 2011, earning 90 million dollars (Dr. Evil pinky) from album sales, touring and endorsements. What we didn’t expect to learn was that she doubled the estimated earnings of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, who came in at numbers two and three respectively.

My favorite, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Taylor Swift[/lastfm], made $45 million and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm] made $44 million which solidified them in the 2 and 3 spots.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] raked in a cool $35 million to come in at number four, while [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rihanna[/lastfm] rounded out the top five with $29 million.

The numbers reflect earnings between May 2010 and 2011.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]P!nk[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Carrie Underwood[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Celine Dion[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adele[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Alicia Keys[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Britney Spears[/lastfm] round out the top ten.
