Music, Art, Food & Drink: The Brooklyn Night Bazaar Starts Tonight!
Back in October, I had a chance to check out the inaugural Brooklyn Night Bazaar event at Dekalb Market in downtown Brooklyn. It was basically an open air flea market with amazing food, drinks and music as well as local artists and designers peddling their wares and showing off their work.
Well, the Brooklyn Night Bazaar is back, starting TODAY and ending on Saturday! Click ahead to find out more about the who, what and where!
This time around, they’re switching venues (good thing too, because it’s cooold out there folks!) and will be holding the bazaar inside a huge, 40,000 square foot warehouse.
Highlights will include:
-Over 100 local merchant and food vendors.
-Artist films, projections and installations programmed by NBNY Projects.
-Specially designed layout by JDS/Julien De Smedt Architects.
-Live music and DJ sets including James Murphy ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]LCD Soundsystem[/lastfm]), The Crystal Ark, Midnight Magic, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Hold Steady[/lastfm], Titus Andronicus, Wakey!Wakey!, and more. See Ticketfly.com for tickets to the Bazaar’s performance space.
-Beer and wine garden featuring local breweries and wineries.
It’s all going down December 15, 16 and 17th from 5:00 PM until 1AM @ 149 Kent Ave, Brooklyn NY (Entrance between North 5th and North 6th) near the Bedford Ave. L train stop or the North 6th Street ferry landing.
The best thing about this event is it’s ALL FREE except for the ticketed music space. Don’t miss out on your chance to pick up some GREAT gifts for whatever winter holiday you’ll be celebrating this year!
