Update: Bruno Mars Delays Release of “It Will Rain”

Bruno Mars has postponed the debut of his new video for “It Will Rain.”

The clip was set to bow tonight (10/26) on MTV, followed by a live streamed interview with the singer, but it looks like that’s not happening.

We originally reported that Bruno Mars’ latest video for “It Will Rain” would premier tonight on MTV, but the crooner took to Twitter to announce that the video is not finished.

Personally, I’m of the opinion that the video is in fact ready, but MTV and the Twilight people just want to build up the hype for this event. After all, the video is supposed to have a few never-before-seen clips from Breaking Dawn Part 1.

At least you can still listen to Mars‘ “It Will Rain”:

In the meantime, Christina Perri‘s video for “A Thousand Years,” also featured on the Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack, premieres at 6 AM Eastern today on MTV.com. (She’s no Bruno, but something is better than nothing!)
