Kathy Beth Terry, from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm]’s “Last Friday Night” video, is one of our favorite pop nerds of 2011! Her ’80s-looking outfit is perfect for a colorful Halloween night!
Just make sure you spend it like Katy Perry spends her “Friday Nights”–sans the puking in a roller skate, of course.
If you don’t want to give yourself a full-on permanent (high five for not making that decision, girl), you can always curl and tease your hair like the girl in this video. You’ll need a fine tooth comb, tiny curlers, and lots and lots of hairspray. Maybe two cans depending on how thick your hair is.
Kathy Beth Terry’s look in “Last Friday Night” is bright, bold, and brace-y. We don’t recommend getting braces for Halloween (or messing with your teeth), but if you rock the rest of the look, people will for sure know who you are.
Master the eye make-up with this tutorial (complete with a full list of products) from xkristacosmetics.
Just add some frosted pink lipstick and you are set!
You can get brightly colored, chunky ’80s jewelry just about anywhere, but we love these ’80s triangle earrings from Patricia Field so much, we might wear them on other holidays that don’t end with ‘Ween.
Get cray-cray with this ‘8os looking headband from Kate Spade:
Bangle bracelet were all the rage in the ’80s. Plus these plastic pretties from Flashback and Freedom will make a good weapon just in case.
Katy Perry’s skirt doesn’t have sequins, but c’mon…it’s Halloween. What other time are you going to be wearing a neon green glittery mini-skirt? That’s why we love this skirt from ASOS. Party time.
We couldn’t find a skin-tight long sleeve lycra top (sorry we couldn’t go back in time to the ’80s), but we did find this awesome ’80s off-the-sholder hot pink sweatshirt.
Last, but not least, you need mismatched heels. You can mix and match any colors. Just make sure they’re the same kind of heel! These patent leather ones from Endless are super hot.
