1. Maze is (a secret) theater geek and recently spent time back stage at Phantom of the opera on Broadway with his daughter Jillian and some close friends in the cast.

2. Maze has been playing drums since he was a little kid! Here he is playing Peter Criss’ drums on KISS’ “Farewell Tour” the last tour Peter Criss was in the band.

3. Maze’s first “job” was working in his family’s shoe factory in upstate NY. Maze’s family owned a company that made moccasins for several companies including minnetonka.

4. Maze’s first job in RADIO was at the age of 16 at WICY Radio Malone, his mom had to drive him to work each day until he got his drivers license.

5. Maze is a single dad / stage dad his daughter Jillian just had a callback for ANNIE on Broadway!

6. Maze has 4 tattoos including one in the image of “Space Ace” Frehley’s make up from the rock band KISS.

7. Former American Idol finalist KATIE STEVENS is a very good friend of Michael Maze…In fact, Katie always listened to Maze’s morning radio show in Connecticut BEFORE she made it to Hollywood for Idol

8. Maze has TWO piano’s in his living room (an upright and a baby grand) however he does NOT play piano.
