Carrie Underwood And Tony Bennett Perform On “Blue Bloods”

Just in case you missed it Friday, Carrie Underwood had a HUGE television moment performing with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Tony Bennett[/lastfm] on the season premiere of the CBS cop show, “Blue Bloods’.  The story line involved a big fundraising celebration for the new mayor-elect, and Carrie and Tony played themselves  - BIG stars!

The episode was filmed on  Bennett’s 85th birthday.  Tony & Carrie also perform “It Had To Be You” on his new Duets II album, featuring Tony’s team-ups with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], the late[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Amy Winehouse[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Faith Hill[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mariah Carey[/lastfm] and many more great singers.

I don’t know what was more fun, seeing Tony and Carrie crush this great classic song, as only they could, or watching Tom Selleck, as Detective Frank Reagan, back solving crimes in 59 minutes.
