U2 to Play Benefit Concert for Bill Clinton Foundation

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bono[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Edge[/lastfm] from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]U2[/lastfm] are some of the first acts announced as performers for the Tenth Anniversary of the William J. Clinton Foundation. Called “A Decade of Difference,” the show will stream live on Yahoo! on Saturday, October 15th at 10pm.

My Fox New York reports that more artists will be added to the line-up, with confirmed guests being Bono and The Edge along with the head turning [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] and hip hop artist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Usher[/lastfm]. The event will be held at the Hollywood Bowl, but will also be available to watch live on Yahoo!.

A pre-sale for tickets begins tomorrow at 10am and will be available at Ticketmaster.com. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the William J. Clinton Foundation, which lends its efforts to help serious and urgent causes around the world.
