Here we are, sitting on the 11th floor of our building in Lower Manhattan… when all of sudden the ground starts shaking!
Wait, what? There’s no earthquakes in New York… right?
Here’s the word:
The FDNY and the US Geological Survey has confirmed a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in central Virginia.
Residents of Manhattan, Staten Island, Long Island and Brooklyn have reported feeling the earthquake as well. The CBS NY building was shaking like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adam Levine[/lastfm]‘s booty!
Being a Californian, something like this is going to raise my eyebrows a little because I’ve been through some big ones but fear not, what we have here is a minor shaker that should do little more than get everyone talking for the next few hours.
I still wonder how a 5.9 in VA could be felt all the way up the Eastern Corridor.
