Rumors are circulating that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kings of Leon[/lastfm] band mates are urging singer Caleb Followill to enter rehab which uncovers the real reason behind the tour cancellation, not “exhaustion.”
According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, “Caleb’s drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It’s a dark demon he’s been fighting for awhile.”
A second source confirmed the speculation. “They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. [That's why] they ended up canceling the whole tour. He drinks like a fish.”
Brother and bassist Jared Followill understands that their fans are not stupid and hinted at Caleb’s drinking problem for being the reason behind the tour cancellation via Twitter.
I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade—

Dennis Arfa, an agent for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Billy Joel[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Metallica[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rod Stewart[/lastfm] said that “exhaustion” is a clear red flag that there are underlying issues at play.
“Well, I mean, it tells me stuff is goin’ on. Something’s not right, obviously. Exhaustion is a label. It doesn’t tell you the detail – just says ‘exhaustion.’ Exhaustion usually means you have issues going on beyond just being physically tired. It’s a convenient label.”
This footage comes from the Dallas concert where Caleb walked off stage to vomit… and chug a beer. He never returned.
