As a Jewish New Yorker, I guess it’s assumed I don’t peruse the Bible very much. Unlike [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Miley Cyrus[/lastfm], who says the “Good Book” is her ‘how-to’ guide for life.’ She’s also starring and producing a God-based comedy movie for Paramount. (Still, I assume Miley doesn’t take the Bible’s advice to send bears to maul kids who make fun of male-pattern-baldness… but I digress.)
That’s neither here nor there. I TOTALLY respect that Miley’s found a way to be a good Christian girl and also support gay Americans’ right to marry! The star got a tattoo on her finger in the shape of an equal sign in a sign of support.
Soon afterwards, Miley got some heat with a follower called “MileyCyrusLuver” who disagreed with the Disney star:

But then @MileyCyrusLuver started getting mean-spirited Twitter responses, some even as bad as death threats (!) and Miley stepped in once again to save the day:
Moral of the story: Miley, you are amazing. Not only do you support everyone’s right to marriage, but you support everyone’s right to an opinion.
