On Monday night [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Maroon 5[/lastfm] frontman and The Voice judge, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adam Levine[/lastfm]’s prayers were answered at Maroon 5‘s Hollywood Bowl concert when his musical idol, the legendary [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Stevie Nicks[/lastfm], joined Levine onstage for a duet on her classic “Leather and Lace”.
Levine made no secret of his admiration for Nicks on the past season of The Voice. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Javier Colon[/lastfm], who was on Adam‘s team, sang “Landslide” with Nicks on the season finale and earlier in the season his teammates Casey Weston and Tim Mahoney did their own take on the Stevie Nicks/[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Don Henley[/lastfm] classic “Leather and Lace”.
As an introduction to the performance, Levine said:
“This is one of those moments where you don’t actually realize what you’re doing until you do it. What I’d like to do is sing this next song with one of my favorite artists of all-time, and I’m sure one of yours too, God do I love this woman.”
