The stars are colliding… literally.

Your pal [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm], whose mere presence sends pre-teen girls into cardiac arrest, will be visiting our fine city today.

And at around 5 pm, President Obama will be paying Manhattan a visit. Though the President is not necessary as beloved by goo-goo-eyed teenyboppers, he and his Presidential entourage are sure to turn heads.

The Biebz will be hosting the launch of his new fragrance at Macy’s Herald Square. Over 100 crazies have already lined up in anticipation of the boy wonder. The first 325 to purchase the $135 perfume get to meet Justin, so the girls are readying their wedding proposals now.

The perfume is called “Someday.” As in, someday I will have babies with Justin Bieber. Or, alternatively, someday traffic will clear and I will be able to ESCAPE THIS FRIGGIN’ CAB!

Obama is going to try to avoid the throngs by appearing at swanky fundraiser events. The first is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, the second by members of the gay community. Maybe those LGBT party-goers can convince Mr. President to stay for the Gay Pride Parade that’s being held this Sunday. Am I the only one who would love to see Obama in a feather boa?

There may be a reason the two will be visiting simultaneously. Last month, 14-year-old Payton Wall, the daughter of a 9/11 victim, asked President Barack Obama to help her meet Justin Bieber.

The president promised to try, and now the two are in NY…Will it happen today?
