Today’s Daily News is reporting that Charlie Sheen‘s shows may be sold out via ticketmaster but that doesn’t mean tickets are sold out everywhere. As of Monday, Stubhub had over 2,800 tickets available for the Radio City shows. Jim and Kim have the latest on the situation in today’s Tabloid Trash!
According to the Daily News, several ticket brokers located in the tri-state area are unhappy with the amount of Charlie Sheen tickets they have left over. Apparently, they purchased blocks of tickets to his upcoming ‘sold out’ shows at Madison Square Garden in the hopes that a demand would drive up the price of admission. Oops, not so fast.
Whats a ticket holder to do? According to Chris Cantalano, a broker with Direct Entertainment in New Jersey the answer is quite simple. The broker shared this
insightful statement “I’m worried. I need him to do something else stupid so I can unload all these tickets.”
Another ticket holder had a not so nice solution, saying “Basically, if I opened the newspaper tomorrow and saw that he was dead, my first reaction wouldn’t be ‘Darn, I really liked his movies.’ It would be ‘Sweet! I get my money back from Ticketmaster.”
Moral of the story, don’t depend on Charlie Sheen to make a quick buck!
