Street Date: Adam Lambert's Coast-to-Coast GLAM-fest Is Now A Live CD/DVD, "Glam Nation Live"
He may not have won the top prize on the eighth season of American Idol (he took second to [lastfm]Kris Allen[/lastfm] in the final vote) but being runner-up hasn’t slowed down [lastfm]Adam Lambert[/lastfm] one bit. His first post-Idol album, titled For Your Entertainment has been certified platinum in the United States and has produced chart-topping singles heard the world over. Lambert’s 2010 world tour, dubbed “Glam Nation,” was a huge success and has now spawned a CD/DVD release Glam Nation Live which hits stores this week.
The set recorded for Glam Nation Live was performed on August 31st, 2010 in Indianapolis, Indiana at Clowes Hall and was directed by Doug Spangenberg. All of [lastfm]Adam Lambert[/lastfm]’s best songs are featured in the set, including show-stopping numbers “Ring of Fire” and “If I Had You” as well as his worldwide smash hit “Whataya Want From Me.”
Little-know fact about “Whataya Want From Me” – the tune was co-written by [lastfm]Pink![/lastfm] and has hit the Top Ten in airplay and sales charts all over the world, including Australia, Sweden, South Africa, New Zealand, Denmark, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Argentina and Finland.
