Kevin Costner joined some of the biggest country music stars just a little while ago for CMT’s Artists of the Year show.  According to Kevin, the show is about the “honors earned, not won.” The stars may have earned the night, but the loyal fans of the artists earned awesome renditions of some of the biggest songs in country music.  Two music genres collided with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Darius Rucker[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] covering [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Antebellum[/lastfm]‘s “Need You Now.”

During the Artists of the Year event for CMT, my personal favorite performance was when [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Darius Rucker[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] did a great rendition of Lady A’s “Need You Now.” The look on their faces was the seal of approval!

Darius and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] were not the only ones to cover a song.  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Maroon 5[/lastfm] covered [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm].  Watch that, here!
