Gwyneth Paltrow and Grammy nominated artist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm] will appear on the January 15th episode of “Saturday Night Live.” The Country Strong star will be hosting show and Green will perform as the musical guest.

It’s crazy how many connections Paltrow and Green have had over the last few months. Paltrow offered up a cover of Green’s smash hit “Forget You” on a recent episode of FOX’s Glee. Watch her TV performance here.

“I really am just flattered . . . that not only ‘Glee’ [covered it], but it was Gwyneth [singing],” Cee Lo told “MTV News” last November. “I didn’t realize when we first did the clearances for it. I just thought that maybe it would be sung by the cast, but [it] turns out to be her. I’m like, ‘That’s just, that’s too awesome.’”

Gwyneth seems to have immersed herself into the world of music recently, especially in her upcoming film Country Strong where she shows off her vocals.
